Best practices and Budweiser products were shared by all, the group got behind-the-scenes tours of LAFC’s BMO Stadium and SoFi Stadium while NSF brought in celebrities like Will Ferrell, Craig Robinson (aka Darrell from The Office) and T.J. Miller for entertainment.
“What Trak allowed us to do was to take our way of modeling things to the next level. We sat down and came up with a list of the top ten things that we are looking for in a partner… We prioritize and weigh them…and we score every one of our partners and then go back to our account reps and discuss the scores and levels of performance and relate it to cost… If it’s a collaborative piece, it’s not something they have to wait to see… We don’t want to hide it or wait until renewal and miss half the season, we want it to be as real-time as possible.” “Be vulnerable!
“1) Be curious, always ask questions… Answer a question with a question…Ask questions with your partners, understand what’s the vibe, how has it shifted, evolved and changed? What’s working or isn’t working so we can continue to improve. Not just having the end of the year proof-of-performance isn’t going to work and is not going to be successful. Find ways to be proactive and not reactive…Creating efficiencies internally, getting rid of all the spreadsheets, getting rid of the ‘can you send me that one email, wait I don’t have that.’ There are so many ways to streamline that…Lastly, have fun!”
